Kanasis and Manaka were born of Techgama, a mighty shinobi. Techgama weilded two swords, each holding the power of the fifth element; the element of the dragon. Onslaught and Dagona were the name of these powerful weapons of destruction; Onslaught for the powerful and the arrogant, Dagona for the swift and the merciless. Soon, Manaka went on his own path, tired of being trained by his father, tired of having to be his father's warrior. Kanasis stayed with his father and became a mighty Shinobi, skilled in many arts of the swordsman. Kanasis was the weilder of Onslaught, Manaka the wielder of Dagona.
Kanasis went on his way on the path of a warrior. He soon fell in love with a mysterious, dark-haired woman, and found himself in the middle of a war to save this woman's race. Kanasis knew that there was only one way to win this war; he would have to become one with his father. Techgama and Kanghama merged together, and to this day are one; the raw power of Techgama, the arrogant mind of Kanasis. The war was won, but the love was lost; Kanghama, the new being of these two merged warriors, went on to become a bounty hunter, willing of any job.
Manaka was a different story, however. Manaka went on with his life, becoming a well-known mercenary, one of the most powerful warriors in the multiverse. Manaka single-handedly destroyed entire armies, but he showed no emotion unless deeply angered. He soon went into hiding, and for years he trained himself to be the most powerful warrior in all of existence.
Kanghama lived on Wizard Island, a distant island full of many different people. There are many stories of the island that cannot be told now, but may be explained much later. One day on this island, however, a strange man that resembled Kanghama appeared on the island... Manaka had been hired to kill his own brother. Kanghama and Manaka battled for days, until finally the war between these two powerful entities was ended; there was no victor, yet Manaka left the island, knowing that he could not kill his brother.
Kanghama took a job at a well-known boarding school as the body guard of their principal. Manaka, still in his youth, attended the school, yet never made contact with his brother. Manaka fell in love with a girl whose name meant "Lovely Death." This woman died, however, and Manaka, in all his grief, leaped from a cliff to his cold death...
Yet death could not contain the Shinobi. The power of theses swords caused Manaka and Kanghama to become one until Manaka was ready to be restored to his natural form. The power of the swords only allowed one type of permanent death to these two warriors; one must kill the other with it's twin sword.
To this day, Manaka searches for a way to kill Kanghama and to end his greif; Kanghama thrives in his immortality, ready to take on any warrior, knowing that his death will only make him stronger.
